This laundry-themed phonics center focuses on short & long vowels, making it an engaging & interactive phonics intervention. A variety of long vowels & short vowels are included (CVCe words, beginning & ending digraphs, consonant blends and diphthongs).

Students LOVE sorting the clothing items into baskets, while practicing vowel sounds at the same time! You can also hang a real clothesline and add clothespins for a fun literacy center. This interactive product contains 5 vowel word sort sheets

(15 cards in each, 34 pages total).

> Laminate on card stock and cut apart. Make sure you have some clothespins. Tie a string horizontally between two objects. Students sort the laundry by hanging the clothes on the correct LONG or SHORT clothesline and recording their answers on the Laundry Recording Sheet.
