Teach descriptive writing with adjectives with this St. Patrick's Day writing activity. Demonstrate the importance of using adjectives when writing by sharing a "Less-clearly" described paragraph and asking students to draw the Leprechaun you have described. Confused students will ask you for more details!

Then read the Descriptive Paragraph, giving students 3-4 minutes to draw(with crayons or markers) the leprechaun you have described. Have your students hang all their drawings up on a wall and then reveal the actual Leprechaun Picture. This no-prep, 28 page writing pack is a sure-fire way to get students writing!

Perfect for a quick literacy activity in March or to add to your literacy centers!

The remaining activities offer various adjective activities for practice and lots of fun at the same time (28 pages)
